During his speech, Hon’ble Chief Minister stated that “dignity” needs to be given to all workers. Equality and respect can be given to all the people of working class. The Summit deliberated on this subject matter and experts commented by saying that a white collar job in the influence of labour - skilled labour, as well as our skilled labours’ significance is reduced. In order to bring in dignity for skilled workers in society, skill certification would be beneficial. In the global competitive market of today’s world, industries are searching certified skilled workers to keep pace with the fast globalizing economy. A worker or master craftsman working in the industrial environment is aware of the Best Practices followed in his work place and he also gets “Hands on Training” in his workplace, thereby, making certification a necessary attribute.
